Biography
She was born in Prague in 1979 in a family with painting roots. Her grandfather and father were only interested in painting, Petra took painting as her life's mission. As the third in this generational line, she began to show painting tendencies already in her teens, when she attended a drawing course at the Václav Hollar Art School in Prague. Her scope is very wide, both in the use of techniques (charcoal, pastel, tempera, oil) and especially in the genre diversity of her work. She is a true portraitist, as she primarily strives to capture the form into which she tries to project the moment of mental mood of the person being portrayed. He also manages the cartoon genre. He understands landscape painting as a busy entrance to a mostly urban or seaside environment. In addition, he looks for interesting corners and tries to capture them in the morning or evening. Petra is a distinctive painter of many forms. Although she sensitively perceives and deeply experiences every moment, there is not a trace of a sweet-sore or sentimental look in her work.
